We can't all get to the North Carolina BD Premiere Party on September 30, nor do I expect to get an invitation to Universal's premiere party in Los Angeles (though I can dream, & Haken just might get his hands on a couple) but any of us that want to can get to AIM that weekend.

Let's have a Virtual Shindig. OK, I don't really mean a VS, 'cause non of us would be so uncool as to record the BDM & distribute it. Thought we might have a bit of a chat.

When? Somewhat dependent on what day but, if we do it on a weekend, we have maximum flexibility, which is important if we want to attract flans from around the world. The Sunday VSs start @7pm British time, 2pm Eastern, 11am Pacific (you do the math) -- easy for Norte Americanos & Brits (though we often run past 11pm British time). However, for a Serenity chat the first weekend in October, we ought to make it easier on Australians, who will get the BDM on Thursday, September 29. I suspect that most Brits & South Africans will want to avoid this chat.

How 'bout 9am Sunday, October 2, Oz west coast, 11am Oz east coast, 5pm Saturday, October 1, Pacific, 8pm Eastern? Do I have the math right?

What do y'all think?

Nothing in the foregoing is meant to discourage anyone from dropping into the Serenity room any gorram time they feel like it. Nobody's there right now but, as sure as I know anything I know this: That's gonna change.
