This may not matter to too many people, but I just had to say something

I've been around to lots and lots of Firefly/Serenity/Browncoat boards in the past few months trying to find a place to fit in. They've all been nice, but this place is by far the nicest!

I just wanted to congratulate everyone responsible for this community for creating such a friendly, welcoming place... for keeping the boards spoiler-free... and for protecting us from all of the trolls that seem to plague some of the other boards out there. Well done! It's nice to finally be home

Haken is bit *more* than just the Mayor, no? He's sort of the defacto architect, designer, and builder. He also personally donated all of the lumber, steel, glass, hammer, and nails to put it all together. As well as actually rolling up his sleeves and did all of the carpentry and the wiring...

I think he should score a wall on role in the next BDM!!!

Hey!! Tons of interest!!

Columbia's only about 1 1/2 hours away... only thing is... we're completely dead broke right now... and probably will be that way right through the holidays.

If we get a break sometime between now and then, I'll definitely let you know, because we wouldn't need to plan very far in advance for a trip that short. We'll keep you posted!

I know what you mean. I came here after finishing posting on GameFAQs, you see... And those of you who've ever visited GameFAQs forums, you don't need any further explanation.

Careful, though. Some threads have spoilers mixed in the middle and aren't marked. Best thing would be to avoid reading any threads that talk about the movie remotely until you've seen it yourself. But in general, yeah, Haken and the others keep a really good reign over this place. KF
