Letter Writing Campaign?

As I recall, fans saved the original Star Trek twice by inundating the network with individual letters. If we were able to get everyone to write a letter asking for Firefly/Serenity to go back on the air in some form, who would we send it to? Mutant Inc?

I think individual letters would be more effective than one petition, but perhaps we might try both simultaneously and double our chances.

I think the question is twofold.

Fold one: do they care?

Fold two: How do you contact everyone? We're a fair sized community here, but if we were the whole of Firefly fanship Serenity wouldn't exist. A letter writing campaign would only work if we got just about everyone to do it, furthermore if we tried and failed to get everyone to do it it might make it look like there are fewer of us than there are. That would definitely not help.
