WHOOT!!!

It was great folks! Met lots of shiny new folks. Got to meet our own Deepgirl187! YEA!!!

The venue was fab. I've posted a piccy of the front marquee in the BSR from a couple hours before showtime. The organizers took one when lots of folks were there--he stood out in the road to do it, thankfull no one hit him--to send to bix.
My piccy's here: http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=11102

(Geeze...I didn't realise it'd post that ....HUGE. it wasn't that big on my 'puter.)

I got a bigger review...of a sorts...in my blog.

Lookin' foward to hearing more reports for next week's doings.

GOBLUEGUY

First of all, I was the guy standing in the street, sadly I can't claim to be an organizer of this event, though I did thoroughly enjoy it, just a man with an idea. Secondly, I'm a former Ann Arborite, so standing in the street, smiling at the oncoming cars is second nature to me, it only seems dangerous to people not from the immediate area (people who've lived in Ann Arbor are wierd like that). Thirdly, numbers have been posted and the Michigan Browncoats both in the group and just by location have thrown down the gauntlet with a net donation of $1668.75, after theater expenses were covered, beat that!!!

No, I'm serious, beat that please, remember that this is for charity.

Stay Shiny y'all and lets see how very much Browncoats can raise.

-goblueguy

P.S. It was so very shiny to see the theater so full. Just by a visual I'd say that we had the theater at better than 90% full.

The stat I've been given is 171 seats out of an available 200.

Ann Arbor gets the first red notation of finds raised on the CSTS site, and has prompted adding a running tally.

We're underway.

CAB1729

I made it, and dragged gorramsister and her stepdaughter along too. Unfortunately didn't make it in time to meet anybody cuz of stupid construction everywhere!!! We were a half-hour late! *sigh* On a good note, we did manage to convert the stepdaughter, though!

(And I really hope this posts this time, it's my third try! )

Goblueguy: I figured you for an Ann Arborite. I was just afraid that the cars didn't know that peds have all the rights in A2. That and it had taken me over five minutes of waiting for traffic to clear so I could get the shot I did.
BTW--you are gonna post in BSR, right? *hinthint*

Nifty total we got! Yea!!! *bounce*

cab1729--Hey, that was you I saw looking for seats, then! Glad you did make it! Late is much better than not at all.

Yeah, and the frickin' construction. I did try to warn folks of what I knew about. I'm just glad that most of the stuff in A2 is suppose to be over by Art Fair.

Congrats on the new conversion, BTW.
