The road to Hel is paved with good intentions

I guess the subject title is self-explanatory, but would you consider it worth my while, now that amazon.com are offering the collector's edition version of our favourite movie for only $10.99 (not including postage and custom charges for me in the uk) is it worth double dipping?

Keep in mind I currently own the Australian 2 disc edition already - the one with lots of shiny extras the US/UK release didn't have

thoughts? opinions?

I've got three or four copies of different versions, and I'm sure some folks here have a lot more than that. Makes it very easy to loan out copies and recruit new fans!

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

With your Australian edition you have everything the U.S. collector's edition has. Now you might want to consider paying out extra for the Blu-Ray set due out on December 30.

Not so. There is an extra commentary recorded especially for the CE - featuring Joss, Nathan, Adam, Summer, and Ron. Everything else was in the Antipodean release though 'tis true.

And that is well worth the double-dip, especially at that price.

Are the River Tam sessions on the Austrailian release?

Ooh. Forgot about those. OK there are two things that the CE has that the Australo Serenity doesn't.

I'm waiting for the definative edition that has all commentaries, all extras, all the panels from every con, and a personal note from Joss with his home phone in each box...
