Hi Browncoat Artists,

If you have the time and inclanation think about showing your work at Dragoncon this year.There was no,and I mean no Firefly Artwork being sold there last year.
Might be a good oppertunity to show and sell your work.

If you can't make the convention think about using ther print shop to print off your work.
They do a great job and only take 15%.

and click on the Art/Art Gallery or Print Shop if you can't make the Convention but would still like to sell.

Art Gallery : The Art Gallery has many types of space available to display your artwork. We use a standard 4-ft. x 4-ft. pegboard for hanging space. We have many combinations of Art Gallery space listed on the Art Show application form. We have 6 ft. tables available, as well as floor space. There is a 10% commission charged on all artwork sold in the Art Gallery.

Print Shop : The Art Show has a large area to display prints called the Print Shop. There is a 15% commission charged on all artwork sold in the Print Shop. Only Professionals and Amateurs can exhibit work in the Print Shop.

Jury Opportunity 2 Deadline is June 1st.

You can also join the Artist yahoo discussion group.Artists helping Artists,they give a list of conventions to sell your work,the hot items ect...

Quite honestly, I saw very few things to do w/ Firefly last year @ DragonCon. I did see like 2 vendors in the dealer room that were selling VHS tapes of the episodes for a very exuberant price, but little else. I looked for Firefly artwork the first day, but saw nothing. Would have been nice to pick up a piece or two for the den.

I looked high and low and only found the Video guy myself.I thought it strange he had only video and not DVD or VCD.Anyhow,thats what prompted me to post this suggestion to Firefly Artists.

Would be really shiny to see some work for sale this year.

I posted to Nathan about your drawing of him a while back.He had come in the loon looking for some of Irishes work and I mentioned your drawing.Did he ever talk to you about it?
Remember my post?

I don't know if that June First pertains to the Gallery or all artwork.But I did speak with Pat yesterday (he's in charge of Sci-Fi Summer Con and DragonCon's Art shows) and he said the date was correct.

We would love to show your work on browncoats.com in the art section if thats agreeable to you.

He read my post to him so am thinking he may crused on over to your site.Specially since I posted a link to it.He was on an firefly art quest that day.

It must have been around August or Sept of last year.

We are collecting a number of different fan artwork at browncoats.com then linking back to the fan artwork page.Would you be argeeable to letting us show your mal work and then linking to your page?

Hey, SendMeAWave...just cruised over to your site to check out what fan art you had up. LOVED the art from...oh, heck...can't remember, but it's the black background with "Take me out to the black..." on it.

That would look awesome as a T-shirt, and I would surely be interested in owning one. Any idea if someone would be willing to sell 'em?

Thats some of Really Irishes work.I will be adding more of irishes work to the site in the next few days.So check back in a few.I just passed your complement on to irish along with the link to the thread.Not sure if hes a member of FFF.net,if not I will let you know what he says.

Trying to get irish to sell some of his art at the Print Shop Table at Dragon Con.Would be really shiny to see his work there.

UTHACALTHING

It never occurred to me to make the "Take Me Out To The Black" art into a T-shirt. I guess I could though. Perhaps I could make some stuff available on CafePress.

I wouldn't be doing it to make $$, just because people want the stuff.
