Hot this weekend. Humid hot, like Atlanta at D*C time. Heck of a weekend for a yard sale, but we held it any way. Had to clear out some stuff to organize and get some coin. Good amount of the remaining items went to the Pet Refuge as a donation for their yard sale next weekend.

Rain into torrential rains in North Carolina Friday when traveling. Rained pretty hard here yesterday and last night, but sunny and humid now. Should have a couple of days I can ride prior to the storms moving in Thursday.

Hot and humid the last couple of days. Supposed to hit 95 today and we are bracing for this storm the news and weather folks have been hyping like Chicken Little for the last 48 hours. Hopefully it will blow over.

Storm hit hard, but not as bad as some so called "experts" were calling for. We did get pretty high winds, gusting up to 50 mph, some heavy rain for about 45 minutes, then it just faded to light showers for another couple of hours. It did drive up the humidity, but it broke the heat as we are only supposed to get up to low 80s today.

And did it ever suck. Power went out in our building @ 11am due to a blown transformer. 93 degrees, high humidity, sun beating on the building, no windows that opened, 1,200 employees, and an employer that wouldn't close if it were the zombie apocalypse made for one hot, crappy day.

Luckily they got power restored last night so things are better today. It is Post Big Suck so it should be downhill from here, right?
