Ok, maybe it is just me, but since I really started paying attention on this forum I have noticed lots of links to many other forums and there seems to be quite a few. Could someone enlighten me, and the few other new people, as to all the other pertinent forums and the significance of each? I think this is a fine board with lots of nice folks, but I do not want to miss something important that is exclusive to another forum. For clarification I am talking about other forums/boards not the different Community Discussion/Message Areas here.

Thanks,
ByteTheBullet (-:

WHISPERING

I dont think theres any diffrence, apart from the community.

Many use various Firefly forums, and when a must see is posted on one forum, the link is usually posted in all other forums. A must see is e.g. one of the BDH's posting.

I don't think I know even a fraction of what is available, there are all kinds of sights for translating from Chinese and for role playing games...
but what I have found is:

the official site put up by Universal
Pictures:
http://browncoats.serenitymovie.com/serenity/?fuseaction=tools.invlink
&u=embers&linkID=36

which doesn't have a very interesting board yet, but they do put up blogs from the production office periodically...

and here is the old defunct Fox site, but still
interesting:
http://www.fox-tv.com/firefly/features.htm

a lot of people enjoy this site:
http://forums.prospero.com/n/nav/start.asp?webtag=foxfirefly
this is the one where Adam Baldwin gets into a lot of political discussions.

and here is one more thing you might get a kick out of
Serenity retro posters made by fans:
http://www.jsoule-webdesign.com/posters/
lots of people are doing beautiful fan art.

But personally I think that fireflyfans.net is the very best, you'll usually get a link quickly to anything interesting on another board, you get beautiful fan art and all the fan fiction. I am VERY nervous about spoilers popping up all over this board, so I've started tip-toeing and lurking around (being careful to not get spoiled for the movie...).

Everything Embers said is very helpful. Another thing is to keep an eye on the right side of the main FFF.net page, where important news is usually posted, say, a blog from a BDH, and the top of the page, where the recent features are located.

I found the multiple boards confusing at first, especially what people called them. You may also see the different board names bandied about. People call them different things, but usually the OB is the Original (or Official, since it came from the old FOX site) Board -- that's the Prospero board; and the Serenity Board, the Browncoat Board, or the 'Versal Board all are the official Serenity movie site board. Embers has links for both in his/her post in this thread.

But you won't miss anything; people who frequent multiple boards will cross-post, and we at FFF.net get everything here. Plus great homemade wallpapers, cool images, fanfic, and loads of shiny stuff!

ECGORDON

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

There is also:

http://serenitymovie.net/

That one was created by a guy in Utah named Jeremy. He works for a dvd manufacturing company, tried to get the contract for the Firefly dvds but lost out, and will also be lobbying for the chance to do the Serenity dvd. Lucky bastard was also one of the Browncoats to get picked as an extra in the BDM. He posted a great report on his experience at DragonCon recently too.
