You have the only ones I knew about, namely Adam Baldwin and Mark Sheppard. When FF came on I recognised Adam straight away as the super soldier guy Mulder is ultimately accused of killing in the finale. Plus I knew him from Full Metal Jacket of course.
Mark Sheppard was a bit tougher as I knew his face but couldn't place where I'd seen him. Looked on imdb.com saw The X-Files listed and without going any further I knew he was the guy from 'Fire'. Of course he's now been in just about everything so it's hard to miss him.

Didn't know about Jewel or Michael Fairman though.

It's part of the fun of rewatching older shows/movies and seeing actors in bit parts before you knew them. A classic FF one being Nathan as the wrong Private Ryan.

yeah, badger was in battlestar gallactica too,
i liked him in that.

jewel was young when she was in the x-files but she never changes so she looked the same.

there may be more, x-files was filmed in canada for a while and used a ton of actors so i'm curious if there's any more.

This thread must be stuck in my head because I thought of another a few minutes ago and checked out his name before posting. I really should have got this earlier coz when appeared in FF, Lost and Supernatural I said to myself 'Hey it's the guy from X-Files'. He pops up in just about everything as well.

He is:

Fredric Lehne - Ranse Burgess in Heart of Gold and the young Arthur Dales in The X-Files. He was the agent who was there when we found out why they were called 'X-Files'.

While not from X-Files, I was amused to realize that the actor playing Niska was in the infamous Thanksgiving episode of WKRP in Cincinnati

He played a store owner who give Les Nessman a hard time during his remote before the turkeys were "released"

Time to derail this thread.

As you are obviously a fan of files marked X I was wondering if you'd heard anything about whether there will be another movie in 2012. I haven't heard anything myself but I haven't really looked either. I know when the last movie came out there was some (fan) talk about it and it would make sense from a plot perspective as it's the 'invasion' year.
But knowing that the last movie didn't go down well and the amount of time passed I wonder if Duchovny and Anderson would be willing to do it even if the studio was.

Any thoughts?

'I Want to Believe' didnt make lot of money, but it didnt cost a lot to make so that's not a negative.

THIS LAST MOVIE BETTER BE A MYTHOLOGY.

Money wasn't actually my point (not that I made a point). It was more that FTF was an excellent movie for fans, even at worst most folks seemed to compare it to a good double episode of the show. I thought it was truly excellent.
IWTB on the other hand didn't seem to sit well with fans that I know. It could be compared to a poor non-mythology double episode. I thought it was okay as an X-Files film on it's own but would have suited better as a double episode. For all the waiting and wondering after the series ended it should have been better. They wasted their opportunity for what could have been a big event.

My only problem is that we will be deluged with invasion/apocalypse/end of the world movies next year (it's all ready started) and I fear that The X-Files will get lost in the rush. It's been so long since it was part of the currently popular media that people have moved on and it's now a fondly remembered show.
Her's hoping it can stand out from the pack.

yeah, i loved Fight the Future.
That is a great movie even if you're not an X-File fan.

Hey did you ever get the Mythology DVD set?
That's maybe the best compilation set of DVD's in existence.
As you probably know, its a 4 part set:

ABDUCTION
BLACK OIL
COLONIZATION
SUPER SOLDIERS

Each is a 4 disk set (16 disks total)
it unbelievable and you can probably get them cheap now at amazon or ebay or wherever.

No I didn't get the Mythology set but I do have every series on DVD (bought on release day) plus the two movies on Blu-Ray.
I don't usually dip into series and watch just certain episodes. If I'm going to watch it I'll watch it from the start, all the way through, with breaks between seasons. I do plan on seeing it all again before the potential movie in 2012, just don't know when yet.

At the time the show was on I had a lot of the books (episode guides etc) that surrounded the series but gave them away once I read them enough. These days I collect replica props and have Mulder's gun (not real) and ID on a plaque, his ID wallet with (crappy) badge and clip ID's for Mulder, Scully and Skinner.
I also have a large selection of photos, files, reports and other things that I found online but they aren't printed out and some are too poor in quality to be worth it.

What have you got?

i dont have any memorabilia, just dvds - mythos set, movies, complete series.

i did get 2 mulder and scully figures still in their packaging but i'm giving them to one of my
X-FILES TRUTH 'agents' for all the work she's doing on the show.
its an hour long podcast and she handles the website as well as contributing 1-2 segments per episode,
plus she does a ton of research for the show, so thats the least i can do.

firefly has some good podcasts too.

I have listened to a few but nothing regular. I usually catch them if there's someone being interviewed on it that I like. I heard a couple of FF (The Sognal) ones back when the movie was on it's way and I've caught several of the Scifi Guys podcasts but that's really about it except for a couple of minor other ones.

Can the X-Files podcasts be downloaded?
If they can I may give it a listen but I really dislike the ones where you have to sit through loads of crap before you get to the interesting bit and you can't jump forward because it's streamed.
If the X-Files ones can do that or they are a different approach then it may persuade me to watch...err...listen.

Here's the synopsis of the episode, which is called The Barber:
"After getting a bad haircut from his barber Enzo, Jerry secretly arranges for Enzo's cousin, Gino, to repair it. Enzo is suspicious that Jerry is having his hair cut by someone else, so he hires Newman to steal a piece of Jerry's hair. George is uncertain about whether his job interview was successful or not,so he decides to go into the office and act like an employee while the boss is on vacation."

Penske was the client who showed to view his file and told George he was "Penske material" (all George had done was move the papers in a manila folder to an accordion file! LOL)

At the end of the show, you find George in Penske's office (just like at the beginning of the show when he was in Tuttle's office) and finds there's no job because the board of directors is under indictment. LOL

The Case: Mulder’s former partner in the Violent Crimes Section enlists Mulder and Scully to help investigate the murder of Benjamin Drake, CEO of software company Eurisko. Episode 12 – Fire

The Case: Sparked by the deaths of several members of Parliament by being set ablaze, an old flame (Phoebe Green) asks for Mulder’s assistance in protecting a British lord vacationing in Massachusetts. Green tries to rekindle her romance with Mulder as they investigate and Mulder must confront his pyrophobia to catch a man who kills by starting fires with the touch of his hand.

The Case: After the death of her father, Scully’s skepticism is tested by Luther Lee Boggs, a death row prisoner who claims to have gained psychic abilities.
Boggs claims to have visions of a kidnapper and offers his help in catching the man. Mulder dismisses the prisoner’s claims,

Episode 15 – Lazarus

The Case: Agent Jack Willis, a friend of Scully, is shot during a trap set for a bank robber. Scully in turn shoots the criminal who dies from his injuries while Willis is revived. After being brought back from the brink of death, Willis takes on the persona of the criminal he chased for nearly a year. The Case:
