Likes to mess with stuffs.

AIRLOCKALPHA.COM - If ABC has no plans to continue "V" for a third season, they failed to share that with the producers of the show...

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

So how is that any different than scores of other series that have ended without resolution?

The network doesn't care about resolution for the fans. They probably waited until after production had ceased so they don't get asked for more money to resolve the story.

So it was doing okay in the numbers in it's original timeslot, then they move it to later and it doesn't do well. When it returns it's in another timeslot on another day and it starts doing even worse. And it's had it's run cut back before airing.
Any fan who thinks this show is returning is delusional. Any exec who okays this for a new series is delusional.
I mean I thought V was okay, it was watchable but not great. It had a lot of wasted potential. In today's TV world I was surprised it got renewed for a second season. My guess is that the execs have seen enough into S2 to know if they want it back and they just haven't said it yet.

I don't think I'm going to bother continuing to watch if the show is just going to end like that. I'll wait and see what happens.

Sounds like a sensible strategy: stop watching for fear that it will be cancelled because not enough people are watching.

In the U.S., the only viewers who matter are in Nielsen households. The networks don't care about the rest of us.

I'm not in the US so my viewing habits make no difference to the shows survival.

And it's not fear of cancellation that is making me stop. It's the fact that if it is cancelled (which is likely) it'll be another show without any resolution, another one that just ends. If they had the chance to wrap up the story then I would continue to watch but at current info that doesn't appear to be the case. The same would apply if it was a great show, I would continue to watch it. But, IMO, the show is okay, not great. It's very watchable with some great ideas that don't seem to be followed through.
Why would I continue to use up my time on something that was only okay and going nowhere when it could be spent watching shows that I really like?
You wouldn't pay someone to work for you who said that the job would remain unfinished. You wouldn't invest in something that was going nowhere and the same applies to TV.

If things change and it somehow gets a third season then I may catch up later but for now I have better things to do.
