Apparently just passed away, age 61.
From complications from surgery - but what surgery?

That story say he had a "minor role" in Aliens!! What version has his role reduced to minor?

Not to downplay his contribution, but he was a "Joe Everyman" kind of character. Someone they got when they didn't want their big money actor overshadowed. That said, he seemed like a genuine person, and had a great smile.

I'm interested in what went wrong with his heart surgery. Modern medicine can do so much, and yet so much badly, too.

For FFFs, recall he already died at the hands of Jayne (& Ben Stiller) in Next of Kin.
But he did have many of the best lines in Aliens and Weird Science.

He shined as a supporting actor, but he also did pretty good when he was a lead.

RIP

I think this says it. I'll hash tag this as a "good analogy" of Bill Paxton.

RIP
