You're right RF, Smokey and the Bandit was soooo much fun and a bonafide hit back in the day. Smokey II was awful. Cannonball Run, Hooper and The End were the last of it's breed (I really enjoyed the zaniness of Dom DeLuise). RIP Bandit SGG

You are right the true "Smokey and the Bandit" was good fun but the others sucked.

They are useful for road trips, but other than truckers, not a lot of people still use them.
