I'm starting this now because I assume I will watch this, and will comment about it.

It was scheduled for release this past summer, but delayed until December.

Apparently about a guy named Guy who is a NPC in a video game, so that his deaths do not count against any of the controlled players.

I'm thinking that some of the funny may be similar to Sam Rockwell playing GUY Fleuggel playing Chief Roc Ingersol on the TV show Galaxy Quest in the film Galay Quest. 63948

Thanks for the vid clip. That makes me think it might have an Edge Of Tomorrow angle to it, possibly an Enchanted angle, maybe even Pan's Labyrinth. The most obvious comparison might be the Jumanji reboot.

But the action on the silver screen seems full, more than the small screen can handle.

For all of those reasons, I'm sure Ill catch it in cinema, unlike Greenland.

I recall not long ago noticing that of the historic blockbusters, his only entry was Pikatchu, so maybe he is trying to channel another of those.

Looks to be opening on Friday.

In my city, no theaters are even open on Wed or Thurs, so no midnight showings to celebrate.
