Younger Josh Hutcherson in Zathura, methinks.
I've enjoyed Anna-Sophia Robb in many things, until the Carrie thing. But the Bridge as a whole didn't satisfy me - maybe I wan't in the right mood. Mostly I don't comment on flicks I haven't given adequate due, but Bridge has been mentioned several times - I did want to like it.

I agree with Final Countdown, despite Martin Sheen. Many true life facts about the story portrayed in it.
Also agree with Eddie and The Cruisers.

I keep forgetting to add Highlander. Saw it over 40 times before DVDs were invented. Many have copied, but few preceded the flashback style, let alone the disjointed flashback. Love the Director's cut, with the meeting of Rachel.

I can add that I was disappointed but not surprised by Titanic. The critical importance of understanding maritime disasters is to help prevent the event from happening again in the same way. Therefore we must investigate why and how the event occurred.
Of all the Titanic movies, films, series, documentaries, every one was wrong about their conclusions, including the investigative boards. The actual cause of the sinking of the unsinkable ship was stated during testimony by the buildmaster of the shipyard when the original inquiry was convened, but his expertise was discounted and ignored.
The very first portrayal of this disaster to have at hand the actual facts regarding how it sunk was this James Cameron jaunt and he refused to portray the event accurately. The true cause of how it sank was confirmed during Ballard's exploration of it which was portrayed in the film by Bill Paxton.
For that reason, I cannot endorse the film.
In addition, while Cameron claimed historical accuracy, the Lake Wissota that the Leonardo character was supposedly from did not even exist at the time.

Great film, heard something from friends but mostly watched because of comments here. It was a good mockery of both Left and Right politics. It's maybe more like a Thriller with ridiculous survival elements, a silly horror satire, almost chatting with the viewer or Breaking the 4th Wall, it has weird horror survivor stuff, then crazy mayhem mixed with weird dark laugh and gags a look at cancel culture but also a tongue-in-cheek comedy, there is a female ass-kicker but it does not bash you over the head with Feminism.

It might have done better if Covid and global Lockdown was not happening, its a shame DVD sales also died these past years.

Sweet dude. Yeah. This was one of the great films that nobody saw. There was a lot of bad information out there about this movie too, from both sides of the media. Almost as if TPTB didn't want people seeing this. A lot of people on the right hated on The Hunt just as much as on the left did. I'm pretty sure that both JSF and Auraptor said they weren't going to watch it.

And to me, especially at the time, the actual strong female character based off of an actual human being archetype rather than a soulless and Construct of Perfection devoid of any personality was highly appreciated.

Here was my initial thoughts when I watched it back in March of 2020...

Yup. I thought they were going to learn lessons after last year. But right out of the gates Universal, the king of 2023 returns, puts out the $200 Million Argylle that's going to struggle making $100 Million and lose $400 Million for the studio. And it's already been announced they spent another $200 Million making a sequel to Twister that nobody is going to go out and watch too.

Disney might end up the winner this year simply by not playing. I don't think they have much coming out in 2024 other than Deadpool 3.
