ok, so this mught not be a nitpick,(but probably is) In Train Job, Crow is sent out to cut down the body of Niska's nephew, yet even though he is behind a closed door, in the next scene his tattoed arm is visable.

(He would have had to move pretty quick to be there.)

You can see him coming out from the back room a couple of cuts before the one where you see his arm.

Someone on the official board once pointed out a possible mess-up in Serenity. Right after Wash escapes the Reavers with the Crazy Ivan move, you can see him holding an imaginary flight yoke. He's holding his hand out like he's flying but there's nothing there.

I found one. In the episode "War Stories" when Mal and Wash are being tortured, then Zoe comes to get Wash? The bad guys cut off Mal's LEFT ear and gives it to Zoe. There's one shot a bit later in the episode where Mal's RIGHT ear has been chopped off. It's the shot where they put a doodad on Mal's chest and some CGI graphics make it look real painful to his torso. Just before the pan down to the CGI graphics, Mal's right ear appears to be cut off. Seconds later they cut to a shot of the bad guys with Mal in the frame, and his right ear is back to normal again. This goes by real fast though and it's almost not noticeable unless you freeze the frame.

It's pointed out in the ep commentary that it's a blackened burnt out Mule. Now, whether you believe it would actually survive what was done to it in War Stories at all is another matter...

I've been lurking on this board for months (great job BTW) and this is the first time I feel I have some contributions:

Serenity/Crazy Ivan:the turning of the engine sequences are backwards, it was probably done in editing, but the first turn shot shows the engine going back to forward thrust.

Serenity/Reavers at Whitefall: The size of the Trans-U seems to change with nearly every shot, while this is good in a few scenes to instill some fear it is a bit jaring to go from one scene where the Serenity is barely 1/5th in size to a moment later when they are nearly equal.

Train Job: having looked at the underside of Serenity in 'Safe' (w/ Jayne aiming his gun) its rather obvious that the CGI guys just attached a string to the underside w/ Jayne hauling up the goods, no underside opening.

That's All I got so far, I still have many mighty tech issues particulary with those out- rigger engines, but I didn't watch it just to complain.
