1) Nothing ever goes according to plan.

2) Small concealable weapons go the the far left of the place setting.

3) A quick wit helps, but a quicker draw is better.

4) The Bible is good (but the meek have not inherited an Earth yet).

5) Whether you're dealing with vampires or intergalactic fugitives, the suspicious-looking guy is actually really nice.

6) Because of this, the nice guys are actually really suspicious.

7) Swords are still some peoples' weapon of choice in the 26th century.

8) If you have been shot, you will fall just metres from the button that will save your life.

9) If your actions turn the balance of power in your side's favour during a war, your superiors will still think it's too dangerous.

10) It is easy to kick a six-foot, two-hundred pound man into a spaceship's engine regardless of your size.

1. Never trust a woman wearing lipstick, or one who gets naked while quoting the Bible.

2. When in doubt, bring grenades.

3. Allowing people to have sex in the engine compartment is a good way to separate the “genius mechanics” from the morons.

4. Having a compatriot who constantly wears body-armor, does not mean that you will automatically be wise enough to shoot someone in the head, rather than the chest. Think. Aim.

5. When having dealings with rogue Companion con-artists, be sure to bring a spare change of clothes. (And a smarter Companion)

6. When smuggling illegal body parts, don’t try to screw the deal with the people holding your originals hostage.

7. When finding a job, try to avoid grandpa looking individuals who quote sadistic philosophy and gut their nephew-in-law for fun.

8. The chance for blowing a critical engine component, rises in a direct, proportional relationship to how far you are from civilization.

9. The chance for having a crew member critically injured, rises in a direct, proportional relationship to how far you are from your doctor.

10. When in a romantic situation, it is best not to tell her she is the only woman...you have access to at the moment.

I do not think I'm repeating anyone's, but it has been a little while since I read this through.
In no particular order:
1) It never goes smooth
2) Even on an uninviting planet, there's a friendly folk dance happening somewhere
3) If there's shooting, do not stand there with your arms in the air or you'll lose a lot of blood
4) Every man ever got a statue made of him was one kind of sumbitch or another
5) Even if you really like someone, if you're too different you'll probably say the wrong thing to them. Many times.
6) You DO NOT mess with a warrior woman's man. She won't even make sure he's okay before she shoots you.
7) A crazy psychic genius can still want to dance and play
8) If you're alone, frozen, and out of air, be very wary of anyone coming to help you.
9) Don't call your doctor 'Doctor' all the time, unless you want him to get snatched on an uninviting planet in the middle of a friendly folk dance.
10) Being ironical can save your life. Though a shadowed past and a magic ident card doesn't hurt.

And at number 10 or 1 depending on your point of view

they tell you to never hit a man with a closed fist but on accasion it can be as funny as hell

1) there evil

2) there the goverment (which proves there evil)

4) they dont believe in reavers untill they meet them and get eaten (ha ha ha haaaa)

5) they have top secret projects (like lab grown organs and psychic assassins

6) they have assasins (check out the movie)

7) they want the verse but dont want to get involved in the verse (they never help anyone or are around when wanted)

8)Reaver ships kick their ships asses

9) the only good fed (alliance officer/soldier) is a good dead fed

10) oh and did i mention? THERE EVIL!!!!!!!!!!

1~ There's a bunch of bothersome nooks in Fireflys
2~ Apparently smugglers like Fireflys for just that reason
3~ Not telling Tracy the plan ends with him holding Kaylee hostage
4~ It also ends in Tracy getting shot
5~ The Bible is broken
6~ Calling Badger a psychotic lowlife is an insult to the psychotic lowlife community
7~ Mal would like to be king of all londinium, and wear a shiny hat
8~ When there's local color happening, grand entrances don't go amiss
9~ Kaylee has trouble recalling some of the captains previous plans
10~ Sanguine means hopeful and bloody
11~ Jayne is like a trained ape. Only, you know, without the training
12~ Wash is a large, semi-muscular man who can take it
13~ Jayne wondered why the crew ordered a dead guy
14~ Jayne doesn't want to explode
15~ Jayne also thinks River's in Congress
16~ Which causes Wash to wonder how Jayne ever learned speech

Selling out the fugitives hiding on your boat will get you whacked with a wrench, and thrown into an airlock.

Jewish crackerjack hackers with dark, curly hair are insanely hot.

Sometimes things are hard to get to.

When speaking of scary monsters, and you will, always keep calm, you might scare the women otherwise

Floral bonnets could always come in handy
