So after polishing the rest of the current story arc, I realized this story alone will take up most of summer to finish on my regular two comics a week schedule. So I’m going to go ahead and try out three comics a week, starting next week. It should hopefully speed the comic up, and allow for other shenanigans to take place afterwards.

However, I don’t want to cut this story arc short. I really like where it’s going. I always planned to do some sort of tribute to Firefly. I also always figured it would be cool to conclude every one-year cycle with a longer story arc, so the timing works.

Drinking Jack Daniel's is not my style. For this New Year's Eve, everybody at my place gets a shot of Chivas Regal 12 to commemorate Firefly's cancellation ten years before. There will be an even better 18-year-old bottle of Chivas for my next toast: "To Joss Whedon, the genius behind Firefly! May he write a monthly Serenity comic and never, ever, stop. Forever! To the stars!"

Sounds drunken, but I swear I'll bring out the 25-year-old bottle of Chivas to toast Dark Horse Comics when the 12th issue of the monthly Serenity arrives. I'm anticipating a hangover.
