Ariel - has Wash's fake ID been discussed?

Anybody notice the picture used on Wash's fake ID badge? It's shown in the Visual companion book, looks hilarious.
I know Jayne was the one supposedly forging all the IDs, but where did he get this pic?
It looks more like Seth Green with blonde hair, or Wash is stoned.

Apologies if it's been discussed already. It just cracks me up. Haven't seen it online to link to.

Also, anybody wonder how many of the contacts Simon and crew use for all the fake IDs and whatnot were from his contacts from trying to get River out versus how many from Mal, Jayne's, etc contacts among thieves?

Yeah, I'm looking at them right now in the companion book. Alan looks like he just rolled out of bed, Adam looks like he was just arrested, Nathan looks like someone just ticked him off, and Gina--of course--looks gorgeous. (The props ppl were generous to her.) Obviously, someone had fun making these.

And, I wonder who it was that gave Jayne the fake name Kiki LaRue? Even more curious, Beauma Sclevages for Wash? LOL! I'm suprised no one was named something like Amanda Hugnkiss or Anita Johnson. (I know that last one was a bit crude, but I actually know someone with that name.

I actually knew a young woman named Anita Tushi. And I assure you she had plenty as it was.

Anyway, I always get a kick out of them when I browse through my Companion.

I just started rereading the Serenity novel and on pg 39 it says that it was Simon's contact from when he got River out(a guy named Garcia) that was used to get the fake IDs.
