here's a random topic why not talk about less known planets in the verse that where just mentioned or fetured on the map like for example three hills

Or Bob.

Although this topic has been explored. Many here know far more about which names are derived from what source than I.

We should also clarify which map. I assumed Mao of the Verse, but other maps have been mentioned, and most are not consistent with the rest.

I'm game.

*Looks at Three Hills on the map*

Seems like a nice well rounded planetary system, with its moons. You have the main planet which looks to have been mostly rocky and dusty, with some new plant life slowly greening parts of the land. In the atmo you can see lingering amounts of dust, or maybe even a type of smog made during the terraform to create a greenhouse effect warm the planet to more tolerant temps. It's hard for me to tell for sure, through the tinted atmo, but it looks as if some of the oceans aren't quite all the way mostly water, yet; either salt water or fresh water.

At twelfth planet from the star Georgia, it might be a cold harsh planetary system, but the star itself looks to be reddening; possibly starting its transformation in to a red giant. So, although the star would be slightly cooling off, its surface would be bigger and closer to the planets.

The first moon out, New Lafayette, looks lush and vibrant, with an atmo that looks clearer than Three Hill's, possibly due to the plant life constantly reclaiming the relatively small atmo. I can imagine this moon is a world for mostly farming, oxygen extraction, or possbly even a wildlife sanctuary.

(I feel like I'm channeling Carl Sagan a bit.)

Second out is Conrad; an icy, rocky world. It has a very thin atmo. One could imagine this moon being mined for its ice to provide fresh water to Three Hills and other nearby places.

And the last moon is simply Bob. Its surface is very red. I'm not entirely sure of what might cause it to be that red. Could be it has a high concentration metal. Or maybe the atmo contains a lot of hydrogen, although the gravity would have to be strong enough to hold on to it. Perhaps the moon is recovering from some manner of bombardment, and has cooled from a glowing red to simply red (Not likely, since it's been terraformed, and I'm assuming habitable). Or maybe even crazier, something went wacky during terraforming and the plant life grew to be red instead of green.

I tend to lean toward the metallic world hypothesis.

All I got for now.
