The guys over at "Cool Shite on the Tube" ( www.coolshite.net) have just posted a stellar set of reviews of both Firely and Serenity. Their slogan is "praise, flaming and indifference about the visual materials we injest". Essentially it's a podcast about four guys from tazmania (Australia) who reviews movies, tv shows and cartoons that geeks would enjoy. Warning, as the title might indicate, this podcast does include lots of bad languages. But that's okay, becuase they are all extremely funny.

They just posted episode #25 where they review Firefly, Serenity (they just went to one of the australia pre-screenings) and Blakes 7. They make a lot of interesting comparisons between Firefly and Blakes 7. The good news is that they like the show and love the movie. They say Serenity is better than the most recent 3 Star Wars movies put together, and maybe even better than all 6 Star Wars Movies.

There are some mild plot spoilers for Serenity, but nothing too extreme. Again, you can download episode #25 from www.coolshite.net .

America loves a winner!

That's great news. I don't know how well the BDM will do here in the US, but it seems like the word is getting spread to the fuzzy wuzzies all about the planet. A bigger world showing can only be icing on the cake when it does so well here.
