Here's something a fan named Bolt thought worth mentioning. On MSN Entertainment's rundown of 2003's Most Daring TV shows, 'Firefly' was listed as a series that was 'Gone But Not Forgotten' along with the top 10 shows of 2003 that broke the rules and kept the audience guessing.

And if you're wondering, yes, a Joss Whedon series is on that list--'Angel' came it at number 3.

The article is worth mentioning because, as all of us should know by now, 'Firefly' was cancelled in late 2002. Not bad for a cancelled series that has been off the air for over a year. Case in point, heard anything lately about 'John Doe' or 'Fastlane?'

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Very cool. "Gone But Not Forgotten" is right!

I wonder if any of the chimps over at Fox ever see things like this article and wonder if maybe they should have worked a bit harder to keep Firefly on the air.

it's good that the show is still getting some recognition.

Fox is stupid.

I see they also mentioned "Lucky" my other favourite show that was dumped by Fox's Evil Stepsister: FX.
The writing in "Lucky" was great from laugh out loud funny to touching; the acting was great...
dang. Maybe a DVD set'll turn up
I only hope that it becomes common practice to release shows on DVD. Even if it's in something like limited release.

"Take me, sir. Take me hard."
