According to the Hollywood Reporter, Executive producer Steve Schofield and creative directors Chris Jones and Loni Peristere left Radium, a digital-design firm based in San Francisco, to form their own F/X firm, Zoic Studio.

Radium, which is responsible for the visual effects for Firefly, recently also spun off a new company called Excelerant. Everything that Radium was doing with Firefly, along with 6 other television series, is now being handled by Excelerant.

GUANTES

Hmm news indeed, maybe this is why advertisers have seen little to nothing on the series?

LEES

Hey guys, A little confusion here, Excelerant and Zoic are the same place. Excelerant is the "head/corporate name" and Zoic Studio is the "work area/store front" for want of a better way to explain it. :-) So Zoic are doing Buffy/Angel/Firefly and the next new show Miracles, plus commercials, music videos etc...

Lee.
