Interested in what "Bushwhacked" is about? The Official Firefly Website has posted several pages of script for the episode.

Also, according to the Official Firefly Website, the episode air order has been changed.

Looks like they've bumped Joss's second episode to earlier in the schedule.

Speculation: if the ratings really do mean they have as little as 3 or 4 episodes to prove themselves maybe they are trying to get the strongest episodes out first. And since the early eps are supposed to be more stand-alone then it shouldn't be too hard to juggle the order.

I've read that Joss felt his episode was really strong, so I guess he felt that moving it up was a good idea. Critics are more likely to review something he wrote, which could help bring in a few more viewers.

They worked fine for me. What they put up was extremely intriguing. It gave you just enough info to be biting your nails waiting for the next ep, but without spoiling the episode.

That's what I was about to mention. Joss told Kelly that "Our Mrs. Renyolds" is the best script he's ever written.

Perhaps their decision to air it is like Jerry said... or pehaps Joss fears that the series will be canceled, and he wants that episode aired no matter what.

I'm hoping that Jerry's right on this one though. Or maybe I could be even more optimistic and say that perhaps Our "Mrs. Renyolds'" special effects are ready and Shindig's aren't.

Whatever it is, I'm just excited we get more Jossey-goodness so soon!

Are you guys using Internet Explorer? That browser has an option that resizes JPEGs so they fit in your window. (They really shouldn't use JPEG for this kind of graphic -- it's meant for "natural" images. TIF or GIF would be better.) When the image gets resized, the text gets munged into unreadable grayness.

Try holding your mouse pointer over the image. A resize control button should appear. Click it to toggle resizing. The resulting page image will be bigger than your browser window, and you'll have to scroll to read it all.
