The Official Firefly Website has posted several script pages from the upcoming episode, 'Shindig'. The script pages contains clues as to what 'Blue Sun' really is.

If you recall, it was one of the things Joss Whedon said is a major thread that runs through the entire series. Based on what appears in the script, 'Blue Sun' and River are intimately linked somehow. And from my interpretation of what appears in the script, it seems 'Blue Sun' is a form of nano-technology. At least that's my guest.

Isn't Blue Sun Joss' clue to what he theme song was? As in: BLUEs Legend SONny Rhodes.???

Probably not. We've seen Jayne running around with a shirt that says "Blue Sun"

Then how come Blue Sun matches the theme song's vocalist? And wasnt Joss tlakin bout tha song? Huh? Um, what ep had Jayne with the shirt in what scene? I wanna check this out agian

I believe Bushwhacked was the episode where Jayne wore the Blue Sun shirt. It looked like a logo for a shoe company. Seriously, it could have said Nike.
