Adam was part of the media guest lineup at Supanova Sydney & Perth 2012 but the Supanova website mentioned that Adam can no longer attend this tour.
I quote them : "Adam, a performer beloved of fans of Firefly, Serenity, Castle, Chuck and The X-Files has been cast in a brand-new, top-secret production"

I wonder what this is; we will probably have more infos in the following weeks.

Oh good news!

I was thinking yesterday how I miss Adam now that Chuck has finished. I hope it's a TV show and that he's the star! If I hadn't heard already that Tom Cruise is going to be Jack Reacher then I would have been hoping he was working on that... Oh well.

Oh, I have no idea who he would play, that's just where my mind leaped when I saw "top-secret production." Most TV show are not TOP SECRET; even if the show's premise isn't talked about, actors will usually say they're filming a pilot, sometimes even mention a network. But the next Avengers film? They'll try to keep it under wraps for as long as possible, because they know fans will be chasing down information on it like wild dogs.

I quoted Supanova but i would not read too much in the "to secret" formulation.
The site is not a news site and i rather think that they thought the formulation was cool, that's all.
