CNN.COM - Joss Whedon's name has been flung around the movie stratosphere with Thor-worthy momentum since his superhero blockbuster "The Avengers" staked a claim on the box office this summer.

But the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel" and "Firefly" creator still feels relatively nervous, modest, yenta-ish and excited when it comes to film festivals. His equally modest, black-and-white Shakespeare adaptation "Much Ado About Nothing" premieres Saturday at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. The festival runs from Thursday through Sept. 16...

Yay glad to hear he got a carve out for the projects we've heard about before. That's the first I've heard mention of them in regards to the Avengers 2 deal.

Really I think they should just make Dr. Horrible the villain in Avengers 2. Kill two birds with one stone. Besides who doesn't want to hear Hulk sing?

Yeah, Nathan plays Dogberry, the comic relief dumb constable who accidentally breaks open the whole plot, capturing and exposing the actions of the bad guys.

The role Michael Keaton plays in the Kenneth Branagh film.

I remember hearing him mention he wanted to establish his own studio, but I didn't realize he was this far along or that his rendition of Much Ado About Nothing was a product of that. I thought it was another shoestring-budget work using opportunity sets on the Universal grounds like Doctor Horrible. Shiny.

Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Hey, if I remember right, Keaton didn't do an accent. Betcha Nathan can do a better job of it than Keaton--and that's coming from a big Keaton fan (well, okay, a BIGGER Fillion fan, but still...)
