A while ago QMX and the Fireflyshipworks introduced the Cerberus, a gunship version of the Firefly. This would be something I would love to see them animate into a short series during the Unification War. The Cerberus is a military-variant Series 3 Firefly that served the Independents during the Unification War. She was part of the Independents 12th Cavalry Unit, and served a support role as gunboat, troop transport and armored attack vehicle until she was breached in the Battle of Sturges and left for dead.

Very cool!

According to Serenity's history, she was modified to serve as a medship during the war. So these were in good company I think.
