Oh, and get this, even something as crappy as "The Bachelor" gets a spin-off in "Bachelorette," coming in January. Apparently, a previously dumped wannabe from "The Bachelor" will have her pick of sad stud muffins.

Seriously, I wanna know who watchces this stuff and whether they know the damage they're doing to quality television.

I can tell you two people who watch this crap: My housemate and his girlfriend. The TV, and its contents are the biggest source of conflict in our house. He wont give anything intelligent a chance, especially nothing remotely related to Buffy, Joss, etc. But the two of them live for shows like "The Bachelor", "the Great Race", "Why FOX thinks their entire viewing audience is made up of Dumbasses", and other such shows.

Grr... Aargh.
