Firefly racks up SyFy Portal awards

I know another fan awards presentation doesn't matter a hill of beans in this crazy world, but I ran across SyFy Portal's annual awards listings (posted Sunday) and was surprised to see Firefly cleaned up.

Literally -- our show won nearly every category it was possible for it to win.

The press release made it sound as if SyFy Portal was appalled that Firefly did as well as it did, but still ... don't have a fan voting process if you don't want to hear the results...

Don't thik they were appauled, probably just a little shocked is all. A show that hasen't been on TV except for a few marathons on Sci-fi channel in 4 years cleans house over such popular and critically acclaimed shows as Lost and BSG. They have to realize that our show was cancelled and now we have nothing better to do, but vote...repeatidly.

Everybody always has the advantage over us, but that's what makes us special...and Browncoats.

Summer took a second place because she was nominated with Gina. Here at FFF.net someone suggested we all go for Summer, but it appears not all Firefly fans got that message.
