Don't be shocked, but I was checking the Encyclopædia Britannica (because FHM is a British publication) for the proper Latin technical word for what the picture of Summer Glau implies. The closest I could get in the Britannica was Cunningham, Allan (Scottish Poet). Something poetic, I'm suspect, is being insinuated about a poet's silver tongue moving Summer's soul. All those Brit Journalists are classically trained.

I dunno about better looking, but I think she's filled out a bit since filming the series. Personally? I think the fact she gave up being a vegetarian around the time of the BDM and getting the role of Cameron in 2005-06 - increased protein intake for all the action work, maybe? - had an effect in allowing her to fill out a bit, curves-wise.

Plus, River seemed to be someone who didn't focus on anything more than basic hygiene and clothes, so I am sure she looked more like she does now when he was not in costume.

"Hooker Working Sleazy Motel" was the theme of Summer Glau's FHM magazine photoshoot. Whether that was good idea, or not, was the decision for Summer and her agent. I guess money made the decision easy.
