I just bought the Outlaw Star DVD boxset, now I know why there was confusion about Firefry being a live action version before the series started.

Whenever you reply to a thread, there's a list of emoticons on the left of the screen.

There's also a series of commands (the words surrounded by double colons) next to each emoticon on the list.

Just copy and paste the command of the emoticon you'd like to use into your post, and you're away!
