I dont know if this has been discussed or if everyone is waiting to see what happens this season. So what are your opinions and thoughts on the show now? The show with Claudia Black? And ... My brother and i are arguing over this...
Isnt Samantha now dating Jack? But on the downlow, because of certain rules and what nots? He says NO and I said yes. That was why he left SG command. So .. am I totally wrong in this?

Thanks

Based on Sam's comments in the show my guess is that they're writting in her real life pregnancy. As I see it, there are two possibilities:

1: It's Jack's.
2: It's the police officer guy's (whose name slips my mind)

I actually think #2 would be more interesting, and would explain Jack staying away better. (Plus it never seems to do a show any good to have requited love;)

I like the actors and enjoy seeing them again but the SG-1 writing is really hit-or-miss for me. It's better than Andromeda but I sure miss FIREFLY!!! (AND Farscape)

STARPILOTGRAINGER

I'm liking the new season so far. It's managed to keep up the same sense of 'fun', something that's often lost with big cast changes (I think with Season 6 they lost some of it, but managed to gain it back after Daniel returned). And what they did last episode, man that musta taken a lot of Baalls. (Yeah, I know, but I just watched it today and I've been waiting for a chance to use it).

I've watched an episode or two, and I just tend to watch Ben and Claudia, and wishing that everyone else (maybe keep the nerd - he seemed OK) would just kind of die. Ahh, if only there'd been a Farscape season 5.

Props to the SG1 people for keeping Claudia Black in leather, though!

That is too funny.

Fun was definitely had when Vala was around. And Cameron is no Jack, but he's becoming just as enjoyable.

As for Sam dating Jack in secret, that sort of makes sense. Would explain her indirect response in the last episode about being single.

KNIBBLET

I see nothing in the writing that would betray Amanda Tapping's pregnancy. They hid it under ugly tweed and sweaters in last season's finale and they had Sam doing only head shots for the first couple of eps this season.

No SAM isn't pregnant.

As for her dating Gen O'Neill. My impression is yes they are seeing one anothe and yes they're keeping it on the down low.

They could not be involved when he was superior to her in her direct chain of command. If he had commanded a different SG team, they'd have been cool. But as HER commanding officer, it would not have been good.

Perhaps if he retires for a third (and final) time, they'll bring that relationship out in the open.

My husband was my boss for a year and we had a powerful attraction to one another. An attraction which everyone around us saw - but we refused to indulge or even recognize in ourselves. Why? For the very same reasons held by Sam and Jack. After David retired and I could not be accused of sleeping my way into superior performance appraisals, we began dating.

REYNOLDSFAN34

I have never been a fan of Stargate, but I watched this season because of Ben Browder. as I was a Farscape fan. I think Ben did as much as he could with the part and Claudia too, but I kept wishing they were back on Moya or Anthony Simcoe and some others from Farscape were there, and I stopped watching after a few shows. To me, Stargate is a piss-poor show, and really, I have no idea why it has lasted this long. I am not fond of the cast either. It is sure no Babylon 5, which is still my favorite show of all time and my passion, and sure as hell, Firefly was a better one too. I love Ben and Claudia and I am glad they are getting work,, but really, forget it.

I stand between the Darkness and the Light.

FOREVERSHINY

BB's awesome, but I want RDA back. The show will continue on, I know (and it has. ) but it's not the same. Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I would love for Sam and Jack to get together, but it just ain't gonna happen. Sadly.
