Because Indiana Jones 4 involves some of the biggest heavyweights in Hollywood, the project has been surrounded by rumors, speculation and endless drafts of scripts. Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, and George Lucas have all expressed enthusiasm to return for one last adventure.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

There was an excellent script completed a while back that both Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford loved and wanted to go with. But George Lucas said no.

It'd be great if they could all finally agree at some point. They want to make the movie, there'd be a big audience waiting to see it, and it's well worth making if done right. But years are slipping by while the project gets warmed up and cooled off.

Hope the movie will happen before Harrison Ford reaches the age where he'll catch up with that "old" Indiana Jones character from the TV series. Luckily there's still plenty of time, but c'mon guys...

Yeh Harrison is in his 50's now and on previous Indiana movies he always wanted to do his own stunts. He maybe too old now to be dragged under a truck but nobody else can be Indiana Jones other than Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford is Indiana just as much as he is Han Solo.

I don't know--I'm thinking Nathan Fillion could be the new Indiana Jones (assuming we're going back to an earlier version and not putting Old Man Ford up there). We all know he takes a punch as good as (or better than) Harrison does.
