I just watched a Patrick Stewart Interview on This Morning (for our American brothers, it is a UK daytime lifestyle show). It was mentioned in the interview about a possible re-unification of the original ST:TNG cast. Mr Stewart then hit on that could be possible and may also include other cast members from other Star Trek series. Patrick did not mention any names but the interviewer immediately proposed William Shatner. This does sound interesting. Has anybody else heard anything along these lines?

Also I must add I think Patrick Stewart is a great actor and a fantastic human being and has the best voice ever :)

I heard that Patrick Steward is a mean, old, condescending creepoid in real life, and I still think William Shatner could kick hiz azz.

Don't believe everything you read. Hey Patrick saved Shats ass, from the ribbon, in Generations. Good ole Kirk then go and gets himself killed, rolling around in some sand while figuring out how to teach the next female robot or green alien woman the meaning of love. LOL

Everything I've seen of Patrick Stewart suggests he's very funny, intelligent, and erudite.

I imagine he'd get along quite well with Joss or Nathan, in fact.

Nah. He's a real nice guy in real life. On the interviews I've seen him done and stuff I've hear from people when they went to conventions, he's a real cool dude.

It was just one of the cheap provocations this River6213 guy puts in every second thread ("Enterprise fans should slash their wrists" and the like)

"attention whore" is the term Just ignore him.

A Guy???

er, last time I checked I was a woman.

Why is it whenever someone doesnt like what you are saying, they call you an attention-whore? I guess some people are into the "herd-animal mentality" and simply go with the crowd....I on the other hand say what I mean in the moment, so just deal with it or whine about it, or ignore it....whatever floats it for ya.

Attention whore indeed!

And Enterprise DID stink, but I gave it a serious chance for quite some time, but once the "Borg" episode happened, I totally lost faith in the rest of the show, and stopped watching it. Anyone who did continue to watch it was doing themselves an injustice. Thank god the show got cancelled before they could totally defile the name of Star Trek.

I heard that Patrick Steward was not a very pleasent man off-camera. A lot of people said that he was really full of himself all the time, and they thought that him being a Shakespearean actor might have had something to do with that, though, he did seem pretty nice on the screen. I loved him in TNG, he made a good starship captain, but he was no James T. Kirk

I think you're confusing him with his guest appearance on "Extras."

GUENEVER

I've always dreamed of Patrick Stewart in a movie with Clint Eastwood, James Earl Jones, Kenneth Branagh (sp?), and Julie Andrews.

Animated would be cool -- the voices. I'm getting gooey just thinking about it.

Although unanimated I would add some younger sex appeal. Angelina Jolie for the guys, and Keifer Sutherland for me. And maybe Val Kilmer. Ooh, and Adam Baldwin. Need muscle.

For some comic relief, the Rock (loved him as the gay guy in his last movie) and hmmm... gotta think about this one for a while.

"Extras" Whats that? A show?

Well, if Patrick Steward is a nice guy on and off camera then thats okay I suppose.

I did like Patrick Steward in this one movie (can't remember the name) where he played as a guy who was in charge of some prestigeous school's computer, security. I guess he was going to hold hostage all the rich kids in this school, but he was stopped by a kid who had been kicked out of the school, but he got stuck in the building, when Patrick's character started taken hostages. The show reminded me of Die Hard a little....anyone know the name of this movie?

Extras is the new show by Ricky Gervais, creator of The Office. Amused me anyway.

The movie was Masterminds and it was pretty bad. Much preferred Toy Soldiers.

LOL... Ever see "Gunmen"?

Mario VanPeebles and Christopher Lambert are hysterical in it...

Patricks character was a prety lame (pun intended as he's in a wheelchair) badguy. Just wasn't believable at all but you can only do so much with the script you're given I guess. I don't think it was his fault.

Denis Leary is decent as the henchman.

Masterminds? Well, I thought it was a funny movie, and that kid was great.
