Not bad, checked it out yesterday. I liked the whole Roman to King Arther connection. Merlin was cool. I think kids can see it. The mulatto chick in it is hot. It starts alittle slow but picks up. It will be a good rental.

Have to disagree. I saw it. Completely boring and predictable. everything from who dies and in what order was obvious from the beginning. A complete waste of time. But not nearly as bad as Pathfinder.

Never said it was Gladiator but Pathfinder man was that tuff to watch. On a rainy night fat chicks are good so no fat chick rent the lost legion.

FINN MAC CUMHAL

I’ve wanted to see this, but with work making my time scarce, I haven’t had time. The critics really hated this movie too. It got a 20% on the tomato meter, which is pretty abysmal.

The premise seems to be that Romulus Augustalus was actually King Arthur. Historically, I’m not sure I buy it, but since history basically lost track of Romulus shortly after he was unseated, I suppose it could work.

What intrigues me about this movie and the previous one is that movie makers are finally reaching beyond the Medieval French and English stories of King Arthur, in search of the true origins. I’m not sure any of them have hit on any major historical argument, but at least they realize that King Arthur was a post-classical Roman or Romano-British figure, not a Medieval one.

And I think it's actually called the Last Legion, if we're talking about the same thing.

Nothing is more unpredictable than the mob, nothing more obscure than public opinion, nothing more deceptive than the whole political system.

Yeh it is the Last Legion. Why do I that. Usually its annoying to be corrected about stupid things like its San Francisco not Frisco. But in this case I am ok with it.

KATER

Okay, first of, wtf is your post about? What about fat chicks? I'm confused and maybe offended, but I'm not sure.

Secondly, I kinda liked this movie. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not Oscar material, but the actors were good and the story was an interesting take on the legend. Besides, Colin Firth is yummy.

Mercy is the mark of a great man *stab* Guess I'm just a good man. *stab* Well, I'm alright.
