Anybody here remember "Harsh Realm"?Not a Whedon bit,but the single season that ran kind of worked for me...even though I am/was not/never into the whole "virtual reality" thing.

Up here in NH,Blockbuster had it-you may be able to get a used copy cheap.
I STILL cannot understand why interesting shows( like Firefly,Dark Angel,Harsh Realm et al) got the chop while exercises in extroverted narcissism (American Idol,Dancing with the Stars,etc) seem to go on forever.
Hell, I remember the Gong Show-now THAT was cool....right sown to the "editor malfunctions".

Did it end with a cliffhanger or was it able to get some sort of closure? I've been thinking about starting to watch it because I've heard good things about it, but I don't want to end up just getting pissed when it ends in the middle of the story.

Cliffhanger,"WTF "kind of ending...geat show while it lasted;intersting characters( Along with Terry O'Quinn as a sort of Col.Kurtz on crystal meth-Santiago),a mute ;female combat savant(a bit of River)Mike Pinnochio ( DB Sweeney),and some fairly memorable also rans.

I just found that series in the vid store a few weeks ago, really liked it, haven't seen all the disks yet. It's too bad they got rid of it so soon.

I loved that DB Sweeny is in it - does anyone remember him in "Fire in the Sky"? It's about 20 years old (about?). I can't say too much because I don't want to drop a spoiler, but there's cool abduction stuff in it. Really well made movie. Highly reccomend it.

Never got around to seeing that one, but I'm a big fan of his from Strange Luck (1995)...

That show was almost like a documentary of my life! (Well, except for the plane crash bit.)

I even drove him to the airport in my limo back in '92, when he was promoting The Cutting Edge. Cool guy!
