I love the flick no matter what anyone says, and I just made a crappy '98 Revell movie shuttle model kit into a pretty good replica of the Freedom.

Well, our object collison budget's a million dollars. That allows us to track about 3% of the sky, and beg'n your pardon sir, but it's a big-ass sky.

Aye, very good popcorn flick - the russian cosmonaut does it for me though, I liked him.

"...but you're a bunch of cowboys..."

Yeah, he was excellent. The whole gorram movie is filled with great one-liners.

Neat model.

Deep Impact was more realistic, though.

I totally agree. And better acted... it was more like a drama, and Armageddon is more like a comic book. Thing is I have more fun with comic books than dramas.
And funny, back then I was watchin' Morgan Freeman as a black President & never DREAMED it'd be real just a decade later...

And nowhere near as fun.
Both are good movies, just in different ways.

Cool model.

Hey, which fun end-of-the-world movie do you like better, Armageddon or Independence Day?
I like Armageddon just a bit better...

Yeah, not as 'fun', but a heck of a lot more sobering, imo.

Look at the bright side... we'll all have high shcools named after us.

If it make you happy, Auraptor, I'm making Deep Impact the movie for tonight.
I haven't seen it in a few years.

And I prefer Armageddon to ID4. Jeff Goldblum just bugs the hell outta me in that movie for some reason.

You going to do up an Armadillo too?

LOL, one small one came with my kit; it's actually MORE accurate than the shuttle was. I'll paint it up. All 4cm of it.
