Anyone here watch MST3K or have seen episodes of it?

If there's a thread on sci-fi shows you gotta have on on *this* show.

^ I saw the movie on TMN one day, and laughed my head off, so I bought it on VHS, and one of the episodes as well. Unfortunately, the series never made it to Canadian TV.

Are they still doing new episodes?

No, unfortunately with their re-shuffle (I think Sci-Fi was being taken over by the USA network or something like that, or maybe a guy from USA was taking over----anyone know?) it got cancelled, that was a couple years ago.

At the time my fiancee was living in the States so I got her to tape what eps she could for me since we didn't get it in Canada. It's one show I really miss.

I love this show! I only wish SCI-FI would buy and air the older eps. All they show are the last couple of seasons that aired first-run on their channel.

Well, of course MST3K was sweet as hell...

Although I far prefer Joel and his evil employers to Mike and Pearl (who was kind of scary).

From what I understand, though, they were all pretty burnt out, the first and second casts, by the end of their runs... I mean, from what I understand, they used to watch those movies a LOT of times in order to get the snappy one-liners they'd dish out each episode.

What really sucked when they tried an hour long, two part format. Weak.

Ah well... we'll just have to make fun of movies ourselves...
