Sad news - David Jackson, who played Gan in Blakes 7 (a BBC series which I believe was quite an influence to Firefly) passed away last week at the age of 71.

He is the first of the cast members to pass away, which is also somewhat ironic since his character was the first member of the "7" to die on the show.
