What would you like to see happen or be explained in the upcoming Serenity movie, or one of its sequels?

Here's what I want to see...

Kaylee and Simon kiss
Inara find a reason not to leave
Book's past be revealed...
More River stuff (she's my favorite character)
Niska be killed somehow
Badger in the movie somewhere

I'm sure theres more....

I think Inara has already left...the teaser trailer might've just tricked me, but my understanding was that she was back at the academy or somewhere with lots of other companions.

Aside from that, def. more River background, or at least something that fuels her story. I think Book will be the last character we learn about, because it's just too much fun for Joss to watch us go, ".......huh."

There's already been a lot on River. We pretty much know about her childhood and background, and that she was taken and experimented on by the baddies.

We DO NOT know about Book. And we definitely need to know more about Malcom. And what made Inara choose Companion as a profession?

I do suspect however, that we will get more River than we know what to do with. Seems like Summer is Joss' favorite.

Well as for Inara, I think what was seen was a flashback.

I think we will see more detail on River and Simon. I think we will see little of Kaylee's background, Mal's background, and Zoe's background. (TV Series covered it well)

The only way we get more on Mal and Zoe would be revolving around the War.

Book is going to be the big plot turner I think. Simon and River will be the cliffhanger for movie #2. Jayne and Inara will likely have small stints of background history.

Inara isn't just smart she is educated. Remember being a hooker is a good job in the Firefly 'verse, much respect, money etc think of old Japan before the world wars, to be a Giesha was a dream to most girls even thou Giesha's didn't sell their bods they sold their time and made men adore them, much like Firefly day compaions. Inara was honored to have been expected into the gilde.

- All the things above

- Some background on Saffron (like: is she really psycho, or just pretending, what's her real name, how did she get to doing what she's doing).
- Mal's childhood on Shadow - what was there? What's so special about Shadow? Why does he never talk about it?
- Kaylee meeting her folks... should be cute :P
- Something about Jayne's family - there was something on "The Message" (it's a great scene, I love it) but I would like to see more.
- How did they (if they did) get rid of the lassiter.

Can't think of more right now, it'll probably come up next time I watch an episode

They mention getting rid of the Lasseter in The Message, i believe?

Also someone earlier said Inara saying she's leaving was a flashback?? I don't think so.... she mentioned it twice, in Heart of Gold and in Objects in Space soo yeah.
