Checking the archives I've found nothing regarding this.

What exactly would I need to get to create a semi accurate Alliance Officer costume, such as the one seen in the pilot episode, Serenity?

Checking the archives, I've seen mention of the uniforms used being those from the movie Starship Troopers. Does this also apply to the officer's uniforms?

Also, will the uniform remain the same for the movie as it was in the tv series?
