September 30th Countdown Thread

I don't see any thread like this posted yet...which kinda surprises me...but I COULD just be skipping it over and not noticing it. If that ish the case, feel free to loudly say so. ^_^

But, if I'm the first...IT'S SEPTEMBER! It means we don't have that long with wait until our movie opens (at least, if you're in a location where Septembr 30th is the magic day...) I know there's a countdown box, but why not a thread? Discussion of our insanity, our excitement over the movie, and how much money our friends are pooling to get us into therapy is what makes opening month so great.

So...I suppose I should start, then? As of now, there are 27 DAYS UNTIL SERENITY HITS THEATERS. Woo hoo! And I made a convert last night, during SciFi's airing of OMR. Said convert downloaded some eppies for a temporary form of Firefly fix, and watched to the end of Train Job. She plans to see the movie twice, wearing a different Inara costume each time. This certainly does well for our movie, don'tcha think?

Yessirre, not long now. I am working up to telling my boss I need a couple of personal days as I have to travel halfway across down the country to ge to Brisbane to share Serenity with my three other converts, brother and Buffy buddies and catch up with anothet browncoat fan found via the internet. I am soooooo lokking forward to this. I am trying to get my brother to wear a jayne hat. He is as big as Adam Baldwin and his (my brother's) name is Adam too so I think it is entirely appropriate for him to wear such an item.

Hehehe, we Browncoats are crazy creatures. ^_^ I wanna go to Kansas City, or Indiana (2 1/2 hour or 4 1/2 drive, respectively) to see the movie opening night with a bunch of friends, but I highly doubt that'll turn out at all. Ah, well. I have enough converts here at home to drag them along. I may have to resort to stuffing people in the trunk to get them there opening night. *Whistles innocently*

WORKEROFEVIL

The 27th I leave Gainesville for New York where I will see Alan Tudyk in Spamalot on the 28th. I return to Gainesville on the 29th, and then I will see Serenity the 30th wearing the Chinese silk shirt I ordered specifically for that purpose. http://www.bitablue.com/silk-chinese-dragon-tunic-suit-p-53.html

Anyways, that's my plan for the Serenity opening week.
