here's what's goin down people. someone over at browncoats.com has been talking to Variety and this is what he got...
"If we get money and a space reservation by friday for the "Thank you Joss, Tim and crew," she will give us a full page ad, black and white for $3820. ($100 more to get the ad typeset)
That's down from $7100.
As I said: space by 10.07, ad copy by 10.11. She will also reserve the back cover for us and make plaques available at our request.

a typesetting fee?! Aren't all professional publications using layouts done with a computer?

html was also in a bit of disarray... Haken's site doesn't require you to use those pesky angle html tags... just use the http link and Haken's sw figures it all out for ya.
