Don't know why somebody hasn't brought this up yet...but Amazon's taking preorders for the Offical Firefly Soundtrack, to be released on Nov. 8.

Looks like the digital sales did pretty well. There's also a Serenity soundtrack, both of which should probably be added to the "purchase" sidebar on the front page.
Oops, the Serenity soundtrack is already there. But add the Firefly one!

and don't forget, merchandising sales are a big part of making back the money spent making the film. i'll be picking up a copy of the visual companion and the soundtrack in the near future.
