Hi

A friend and I took her daughter and two other friends to see Serenity and her daughter loves Buffy and Angel and knows the guy who made Serenity and Firefly is the same person who made Buffy and Angel. Well she had questions, she said if she ever met Joss she would ask these questions.

If Earth is no more then....

What happened to Angel and Spike?

What happened to all the demons and the vampires?

Does Pylea and other dimentions still exist?

Is River a Slayer? (She understands the part anout the Alliance messing with her, it was her cousin who asked this one.)

Is the Senior Partners part of the Alliance?

What happened to the Senior Partners and Wolfram and Hart?

They seem to understand Firefly and Buffy/Angel are not in the same verse but I still thought the questions were interesting.

You didn't say how old your daughter is, but I assume she's old enough to understand the distinction between fiction and reality.

If that's the case, then you should explain that Buffy/Angel and Firefly/Serenity take place in two different fictional worlds. There are no Buffy, Angel, demons, vampires, etc. in the Firefly 'verse.

So Buffy et al are still alive and well in their own reality, and in the Firefly (fictional) world, as in the real world, they never existed at all.

P.S. I don't follow Buffy/Angel so I don't know about Pyrea, Senior Partners, and such, but I think the explanation above covers the lot.
