now and during the playoff games and the world Series. Anyone know how longthe world series starts after the Cards/Astros play off series?

Maybe play the first 9 minutes on Network TV.

Has the fist 9 minutes been aired on sci fi or any other network?

One huge flaw here.

Serenity, being a genre film, has one main competitor entering the field this weekend.

Doom

The real drag on this idea....Doom is a Universal film.

So, I don't see it happening.

Doom is going to tank...I'm almost certain of it. In a way, it would be nice if they could sort of bill the two movies together...but if Doom winds up as bad as my gut is telling me, it would probably turn people OFF to watching Serenity. When you are grouped with a bad crowd, you end up getting the same reputation, regardless of whether or not you are actually like them.

Here's to hoping I'm wrong about my gut instinct. But...in case I'm not, I think I'll just spend my eight bucks watching Serenity again. I can't go through the whole movie verbatim yet...

Yeah, I agree about doom. I amost feel as the big U usesd Firefly as a platform for a Doom commercial. And thats not a bad thing.

But if they know whats good for them they will Blast teh airwaves with commercials before the(probablle) breadwinner is out of the box office. That would be Serenity, of course.
