Seriously. I hate them. So, Browncoats, what do you think? Hate the new suspenders? Love them? Apathetic? Did you notice? (I don't know how you could miss them in their plasticy glory. Eugh)

(Disclaimer: yes, this post has been created to make fun of all the people who feel that their PARTICULAR hatred of Wash and/or Book's death requires a NEW and SPECIAL thread. Get over it. Post in one of the established death threads. Also, I actually do hate the suspenders. They symoblize the move away from the Western flavor and towards the more sci-fi 'of it' for me.)

Mal sported more than one pair o' braces in various episodes of Firefly. I can just imagine him shopping for the very latest in trouser-supporting technology, at least on the rare occasions when he's flush.

Kaylee's a sucker for frills. Mal has a weakness for things that hold things up. As we saw in the closing scene in Serenity.
