Serenity now #2 at Amazon

Serenity is nearing the top of the charts at Amazon.com and is now in #2 beating out the likes of Star Wars Episode III. Plus Firefly (which came out a little over two years ago!) is at #10. This has to send a message to the studios that more and more people are joining. It's a little more hope to see Firefly/Serenity to return in some form or another.

It is a still a relieve that more and more people are finding us and the message is still getting out even after all the failures.

I saw that too. I check pretty often. The movie still has not come out yet. I am buying my copies Tuesday morning.

DVDs are still the key to a sequel. If DVD sales are great, we will get it. Yesterday night I saw several Serenity commercials on TV. They are advertising it more as a scifi action adventure. That is the reason for the crazy cover. It may just work! The studio knows that Serenity is the type of movie that could break out on DVD. Keep your fingers cross everybody.

STFLETCH

The WS version of March of the Penguins has now gone to 4-6 weeks for delivery meaning Amazon must be out of stock. Therefore, Serenity may go to #1 by default.
