Serenity is not that far from the top in several categories, and several of the actors have a shot at some of the best actor/actress categories. Oh yeah, and vote for Joss for best director, of course!

MISSMADRASSA

This is my first post I feel so much about this subject.

Namely, just how underrated Nathan Fillion's performance in Serenity is across the board. I'm sick of this film being snubbed by the usual awards panels(most recently by the Hollywood Foriegn press Assoc.) Yeah I've seen Brokeback Mountain and - Bless him- Heath Ledger is amazing but...

All I'm saying is credit also to others where credit is due. Nathan Fillion -in all earnestness- you are an amazing actor. And if Heath Ledger walks away with Golden Globe, then in my opinion, so do you. (I only focus on Heath Ledger beacause Nathan wipes the floor with everyone else in the Comedy category- sorry Nathan Lane, Johnny Depp...)As for the Best Pic Category- Pride and Ruttin' Prejudice?!! Jane Austen is returning in the Land of the Dead sequel just to rip Keira Knightly's head off. But I digress...

So I agree. Please vote in this poll- IMDB is surprisingly influential.

Missmadrassa. (I only wish Morena had a bigger part in BDM- talk about underrated...)

OR...had Mal swept Inara up in his arms and kissed her like the normal hero does, we would be seeing nominations. The Oscars loves that type of corny crap...hence the reason Cinderella Man's crew are being nominated.
