I'm the kind of person who isn't openly emotional. I don't generally get mushy at all, unless of course it's warranted and in this case it is.

I was a late comer to the Firefly phenomenon. This isn't an unusual thing for me. I came late to Buffy and I've done the same with several other things. Only thing I'm not late for is dinner.

I'm also late in catching on to the Browncoat movement. And it's the Browncoats that have prompted me to write this. Particularly the Browncoats at Firfly Fans dot Net. I've been on other forums and sure they're fun but there's never been a time when i have felt truly part of a community. From the Blue Sun Room right through to the front page of FFF.Net I have always felt a sense of home. I feel like I bleong. Doesn't happen often for me.

I am striving to be a true Browncoat. And I want to thank all of you for being a part of my incredible Firefly/Serenity experience which is getting better every day.

To all those of you I know, and those I don't know yet, thankyou.

Welcome! You're so very welcome to our little space on the coretex. I'm glad you enjoy it here. You might find some of us strange, but hey, we're an odd conglomeration and that works just great for us; keeps things interesting.
